Drive up to a salvage yard in Billerica to get an engine for a Santa Fe, T-Case for a Discovery, and then stopped for truck tires on the way back.

Nice. Right now I’m wondering how I could hide the purchase of a wrecked Buick Ranier from my wife. It would make a great donor for an LS swap in to my Camaro. http://www.copart.com/us/Lot/1553002…

Mom owns a garage. Went with one of her techs to pick up car parts.

We actually didn’t, we took rt 495 up to 95 and went around the city. It was a last minute decision to go, my Mom realized I had the day off of my other job and asked me to go with her tech not an hour before the ferry he was supposed to be on.

I think I’m going to have to file that one under “Not going to happen”, but in discussing it she mentioned that maybe our next house should have a shop separate from the garage. I’m going to take that as a win.
